Sign up for a training camp & stay away from CPC exam jitters

April 9, 2010

So finally you’re ready to take the CPC exam plunge. Here are a few important tips you should keep in mind about the registration process for the CPC exam conducted by AAPC:

• Remember that examination dates will not appear online after the four-day registration deadline.

• Do not leave your application form incomplete because such applications or those received less than four weeks before the examination date will not be processed. If your examination application does not get processed for any reason, you’ll be informed by mail.

• The examination fee that you have to pay is non-refundable and non-transferable and must be used within one year of payment date.

• Various examination sites have limited seating. And since registrations are processed in the order they are received, you have to register early.

So the next time you register for the CPC examination or any other examination, these pointers will certainly prove handy.

But once you register for it, and once your CPC exam dates approach nearer, it’s only natural for you to feel the examination jitters. But don’t let that be. One way to ensure you don’t get those nervous jitters and are spot on with your exam preparation is by signing up for a CPC training camp.
